In April 2005, Alexander was the owner of Australian farms, produce olives Kalamata, including tables. Alexander has invested in the expansion of the farm in anticipation of the evolution of its market from domestic trade in Australia in international export. There was, however, destructive court WTO dispute between Australia and the European Union on the protection of geographical indications which identify the origin of the goods and are regarded as trade marks in certain aspects of the rules of international trade. Although Alexander has prepared her Kalamata olives in the traditional technique of Kalamata, its use at the regional specific name threatened to intellectual property rights provided by the MG.
