This technical note means to offer an introduction to service performance indexes and their applicability to the cultural sector, notably the performing and visual arts. We start by examining the problems inherent in services and in the cultural world both to design of performance indicators.
We then continue to current thoughts for the design of common indicators for services and cultural organizations. In conclusion, we initiate perception to serve as the foundation for establishing individual indicator for cultural institutions and for services.
