In 2009 Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) has been recognized as the best children's hospital in the country for six years, but the leadership saw CHOP as larger main campus in West Philadelphia. Beginning in the 1990s, CHOP has established a broad network of facilities, centers of specialized care centers, outpatient surgery, and membership community hospital.
