Mount Auburn Hospital is preparing to submit a physician order entry (POE) systems throughout the hospital, from the maternity ward. POE systems, replacing paper and oral medication order process with the information system, the physician uses the system to enter medication orders, which are then transmitted to the pharmacy hospital.
