Martha Rinaldi joined the beverage company Potomac Waters as an Assistant Product Manager. Rinaldi graduated in 2008 from a reputed business school in Chicago. Once she completed her MBA Program, Rinaldi had the opportunity to enroll herself for an internship program at the Deep Dive Pizza which has been located in Chicago.
Her job was to assist the director of promotions at Deep Dive Pizza. With her rather conviction, determination and hard work, Rinaldi was offered a job within the company by the CEO himself how was found pleased with the efforts put in by Rinaldi during her short stay at Deep Dive Pizza. The CEO of the company in fact offered her to lead a new project at Deep Dive Pizza in the marketing department.
However, once she completed her MBA Rinaldi even got an employment offer from Potomac Waters which was a large beverage company. At Potomac Waters she was being offered a job of assistant PM in the Health Drinks Division. Although the two offers which Rinaldi had were both quite distinct and unique but both had their pros and cons.
Deep Dive Pizza was more energetic and fun place. It had only one female manager who was the VP of sales. Moreover, the salary which was being offered to Rinaldi at Deep Dive Pizza was much higher and attractive as compared to the salary offered at Potomac Waters. The difference between the two offers was of $15000.
The current issues faced by Martha Rindali state that in spite of putting in extra efforts to please the co worker and the boss, she has been unable to actually deliver satisfactory performance. She has been quite hardworking individual and has shown a glimpse of her efforts where she was actually doing whatever was asked of her. In spite of her content efforts she was not praised for her efforts and in fact all the credit was given to Vaughan who had special relation with the boss Follet.

Excited about her new job, Rinaldi put in efforts to show her determination and dedication to the boss and the coworker who did not actually praise her for the efforts and in fact had a negative opinion about her. This was something she was asked to do with the manager because; she had a personal relationship with the manager. The possible issues was that she was being too dependent upon the boss and the co worker and even helped and supported the colleagues from different departments to fulfil their tasks. This was something that was not liked by her department because she was investing her energy upon them. The consequence was the fact that Vaughan and the boss were not willing that Ranaldi shall help and support the colleagues.
Martha Rinaldi therefore needs to decide, whether she should stay with Potomac Waters and resolve issues or actually grab the opportunity to work with Deep Dive Pizza where she still has the employment opportunity. Follet even complained that Rinaldi does not participate in the meetings and stays quite. However, she even praises Rinaldi where she says that she has been good with her analytical and verbal skills. Moreover, Follet even praised Rinaldi for her helping nature where she helped out other colleagues also.....................
