A managing editor is attempting to navigate a communications and direction catastrophe after receiving an email from among her colleagues at Tehelka Magazine (Tehelka), alleging that she had been sexually assaulted by the founder/proprietor/editor in chief of the magazine. Although the managing editor had felt that she was rightly handling the situation through her contact with the perpetrator, the victim and other Tehelka staff, the disaster deteriorated when those communications was inappropriately leaked and disclosed to the media and the general public.
