Someone to watch over me: The integration of privacy and corporate social responsibility Harvard Case Solution & Analysis

Businesses' associations with key stakeholders are increasingly threatened by privacy concerns. Given the role of firm corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives in enhancing and strengthening these relationships, this article examines the intersection between CSR tasks and privacy issues, and creates a framework for evaluating privacy-associated actions as a component of more comprehensive CSR strategy.

The current research takes into account a firm versus customer emphasis on solitude-related activities, as well as solitude-related actions in the shape of company practices versus goods and services. We identify four areas of overlap between solitude and CSR. We highlight the possible chances to better manage privacy-related issues of stakeholders, and incorporate these concerns into the more comprehensive CSR plan.
