Erin Jones' ridesharing startup in her mid-sized hometown is finally picking up. She is expecting so that she is able to sell to a large player like Uber in a year, to accomplish a sustainable scale. But unexpectedly, Erin hits on political roadblocks - the local Democratic mayor, advocated by the neighborhood taxi association and confronting a tough reelection - calls for more management of her company.
Erin's board advocates her to actively back the opposition Republican nominee through a Super PAC, direct PAC offering, and circumlocution lobbying. Erin, a lifelong Democrat, is confrontational to Republican on numerous private issues. She must choose how and whether to engage in this election.
