HandsOn Bay Area is transforming its business model from “retail” projects comprising individual volunteers to “wholesale” projects with for-profit partners from the San Francisco Bay Area. The company is devoted to the performance of community service through the development of leaders.
The company undertakes a project from Google, which is a far larger project than it has ever undertaken. The CEO has to decide that how to respond this project, which includes the engagement of 5500 Google employees in community service activities for a period of one-week.
However, this project also requires a large exploitation of resources. Along with this, the company has to ensure the success in order to retain its reputation among Silicon Valley partners.
