Northwest Airlines is the assessment to improve its yield management. This system performs a program of economic price discrimination, where the airline is trying to control the conditions on its offer discount fares. Students must evaluate the impact of deregulation of the aviation industry and to weigh the importance of aggressive asset management. Then they need to assess price discrimination as a means for airlines to maximize profit contribution fixed inventory of seats for each flight.
