KPMG Peat Marwick managers need to decide whether to fund the full development of the "Shadow Partner", the name coined to describe a global information network that will link all KPMG professionals to each other and to a large number of databases and information services. Partners through the exchange and collection of information on the network, will be able to use the knowledge and experience of the company to serve customers. Many partners believe that the implementation of the shadow partner is vital, as customers were more demanding and competition in the financial sector grew. Other partners questioned the need for shadow partner. The company is committed to creating technology committee to investigate the shadow design partner and value. Since the firm was a partnership, the partners eventually had to decide whether and to what extent, to support the implementation of shadow partners. "Hide
