Introduction

The objectives of the study are to evaluate the focus program and assess the opportunities that will allow better program designing and implementing practices in the organization. The 1990s

Amazon was initiated as an online bookseller company on 16 July 1995. The company was incorporated as Cadabara but later the name was changed to Amazon. The name was selected because it was exotic and imitates that of the River Amazon.

The 2000s

Amazon started its Amazon Prime in 2005 which offers its customers two days of free-shipping services within the region of the US along with shopping, streaming, and analysis welfares. Given firm’s statement, existing Amazon Prime membership rates are $14.99 a month and $139 a year.

2010 - Present

In the year 2011, the company introduced its first tablet-computer and named it as Kindle Fire and in 2014 it also introduced (Amazon Fire TV Stick) that is a noticeable part of its vast line for streaming media devices (Aversa, 2021).

Amazon formed an online Amazon-Art marketplace in 2013 for fine-arts featuring the original work of famous artists including Norman Rockwell and Claude Monet.

Amazon Alexa the prevalent in-home virtual computer was introduced to people in 2015. After that Alexa-(equipped Echo Dot) was launched in 2016.

In 2017, Amazon acquired Whole Foods (the organic grocery store) and a series of cashier-less stores were launched with the name (Amazon Go) in 2018.

As the pandemic gave online and in-home shopping a rise, customers rely on Amazon even more and the trend is expected to keep going.
