Studio 2.O is an exciting start-up clothing brand which has developed a line of formal western wear for working women and students. These wears are colorful, unique and attractive. The company is founded by a team of entrepreneurs and it was initially focused on offering basic office and college wear. Canadians are becoming increasingly concerned about pollution, particularly from the oil sands industry.
This industry is one of the largest industries in the world and is a leading source of carbon emissions. The government is taking steps to reduce its impact on the environment, but the issue is still a major concern. To combat this problem, Canada has established a climate and clean air coalition. This coalition aims to mitigate the damage done by the industrial activities and prevent their massive impact on the air quality.

Ethical Issues/Challenges (refer to your research about current issues)
Climate issues
There is an enormous amount of discussion on human-induced climate change, from scientific facts about the impacts of fossil fuels to social and political implications. However, little attention has been paid to the ethical issues related to this crisis. In the previous presentations, we focused on scientific facts and their social and political implications. In the current presentation, we will consider the ethical issues associated with the climate change. In this paper, we will examine some of these ethical questions.
The role of ethics in climate change is not new. UNESCO has been involved in environmental ethics for many decades. The World Commission on Ethics in Science and Technology (COMEST) was created in 1998, to provide an advisory body and a forum for reflection. It has published a number of reports over the last decade. The most recent report, published in 2007, informed the public debate and was the basis for the recent declaration of Ethical Principles on Climate Change.
The most controversial ethical issues regarding climate change have occurred from the Intergovernmental Program on Climate Change and the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations’ Conference on the Environment. Both the organizations are committed to preserving the environment, while critics believe that reducing the greenhouse gas emissions is not in the national interest.
While the arguments between the two sides are often contentious, they share one basic point, i.e. climate change is a civilizational crisis that raises difficult ethical questions. The ethical domain of inquiry is concerned with claims about what is right and what is wrong, and what obligations or responsibilities do humans have. The impact of climate change is severe on poor countries. It has already been estimated that one hundred thousand people have died and five million people have developed diseases as a result of human-induced global warming. These incidents are likely to increase in the upcoming years. In the long run, climate change compromises the rights to life and personal security of individuals. In this regard, ethical issues in climate change policy, must be examined.
Environmental issues in fashion Industry
The fashion industry is a major contributor to the climate crisis. According to the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change; it accounts for around 10% of the total global carbon emission. It also drains water resources and pollutes rivers and streams. The impact of the fashion industry on environment is very serious because of the growth of fast-fashion. Despite its rapid growth, the impact on the environment remains low - only two percent of the total global emissions of greenhouse gases have been traced to the industry.
Although the fashion industry's environmental impact is increasing; it hasn't increased at the same rate as its output. This is largely due to the fact that most of the world's apparel is produced by small and medium-sized companies. Furthermore, many of these companies have problems of scale, which can make it difficult for them to implement sustainable practices. Moreover, it is estimated that failure to implement such measures will cost the industry over 2% of its earnings by 2030.
The fashion industry has an enormous impact on climate. On a global scale, it contributes 1.2 million metric tons of CO2 per year, which is more than any other industry. The industry also consumes 70 million barrels of oil annually as well as a significant amount of fossil fuel-based plastic. This makes the fashion industry one of the worst sectors when it comes to their impacts on climate change. The fashion industry has contributed to more than half of the world's CO2 emissions. Nevertheless, the impact of fast fashion on climate and environment continues to be underestimated.
Recent studies show that the impacts of fashion industry hasn't grown as fast as the industry's output. In Europe, the impact of the fashion industry on climate and environment has only increased by two percent as compared to other industries in Europe. The study's methodology assumes that imported materials are carbon-efficient and that the industry is a global issue...............
