This note presents a six-step model of leadership effectiveness: (1) clarification of who you are (personal values and mission), (2) specify that you want (strategic vision), (3) an explanation of what others can contribute ( management participation), (4) support to others, so that they can contribute (organizational redesign), (5) intolerance, and (6) monitoring and recording progress.
