This note introduces the concept of "emotional intelligence", as described in Daniel Goleman's book of the same name, and extends it to include social factor or IQ and changes or intellect. The general thrust is that IQ alone does not make a good leader, but that EQ, SQ, CQ, and also needs to be an effective leader.
