YMCA is not-for-profit organization with aim to provide the leisure activities. There are around 200 YMCAs communities alone in Canada, and it has branches around 130 country worldwide. The organization provides many services to the communities around the world with recreational activates including sports, events organization, lectures, and gymnasium. The Cove beach is under the branch of YMCAand it has been under major issues that number of visitors are declining each year, and it has no recreational activity. It only has life guards that work throughout the day to protect and save visitors from any unwelcome event.
YMCA has been operating cove beach for many years, and it has net loss around to $15,000-$20,000. But, its loss is covered by the fund provided by the council. Company has no other revenue stream, and it is solely depends on the fund provided. So, if council stops the funds, then organization would not be able to continue operations on the beach. The YMCA is a not-profit organization, the branch of Goderich is in deficit each year, and contribution from the Goderich town mitigates the loss and allow organization to continue operations for the betterment, and for leisure activities of the society. The Cove beach is also controlled by the Goderich branch. So, if the cove branch could not manage its revenues and expenses then the operations might be disturbed. On the other hand, Goderich also do not have much excess revenues to support the cove beach operations in case council stops funding the operations. So, it would have to stop operations at cove beach. Therefore,it can be determined that YMCA is not financially strong to support the operations at the cove beach without funds, or revenue streams.

Student-Run Model
If the YMCA initiates the student run model, then it could increase its revenues by $8,599 assuming that peoples visiting to beach each week, among them 2% of the visitors would get life jackets, and 5% of them would get water toys on rent. But, it is also concern that visitors might not have trust on the opinions of the students, because students are not much as experienced as professional life guards.
