It looks at the factors of success in the implementation of continuous quality improvement (CQI) initiative in a project called the pre-operative skin preparation: shaving preoperative Baths at Queen Mary Hospital (QMH) in Hong Kong. The use of focus, analyze, develop and implement (FADE) as a model of CQI, skin preparation device in the CQI project achieved CQI purposes. Intention to block CQI is to manage the same model CQI in other areas, one of which is to minimize food waste project. The decisive factor in the implementation of how to block CQI move forward with other changes using the CQI? As the block CQI respond to organizational sustainability and management professionals through the change? The device also has to consider where and how to collect data to identify areas of CQI.
