In 2003, Lee Stewart, who successfully used the strategy of Nehemiah, to create thousands of units of affordable housing in the South Bronx, working with the Greater Boston Interfaith Organization to implement the strategy in Boston. She and her colleagues have encountered a number of problems in the translation of the strategy, with some doubt, that the strategy is suitable for the market of Boston.
