American Chamber of Commerce of Nicaragua (AmCham) developed by the Committee on Education, a program of school sponsorship. The aim was to encourage their members, mostly private enterprises to help improve the national education by supporting needy educational institutions. Cooperation was voluntary, depending on the initiative of the people involved and the time and resources available to each participating company. The program has progressed, the committee met to become independent from the American Chamber of Commerce and turning to non-governmental agencies. Thus, support for training centers will increase by raising international funds, while weakening the efforts of sponsors at the same time. "Hide
