Dragon's teeth vineyards (DTV) is a South African wine producer, is considering the use of genetically modified organisms (GMOs) in their winemaking process. GMOs promise to reduce the cost of production of wine significantly by increasing the productivity and reduce the processing time and significantly improve the quality of the final product by the use of GM yeast in the fermentation process.
