2b Design: Creative Social Business in Lebanon Harvard Case Solution & Analysis

2006 marked the beginning 2b design, social organization, established in Lebanon, and specializes in handmade furniture and decorative items. Raja Mubarak and his wife, Benedict de Blavous, created a business enterprise focused around social mission, namely the preservation of endangered art, architecture and heritage through works of art and the use of marginalized people, especially the disabled and unable to work. On collection and use of wrought iron and wooden pieces found in the scrap yards of old Lebanese houses from the Ottoman Empire, 2b Design managed to keep the heritage that is increasingly threatened by touching and improving the troubled life and maximize the positive environmental impact and external factors on recycling and reuse of waste materials. Mission 2b Design has been eloquently stated as "to restore broken invisible beauty."
